Firewood is included in the price. You can find the wood you need in the chest bench in the dressing room.

A standard sauna session lasts two hours, which includes the time for heating up.

To have the sauna all to yourself, you must book all 12 available spaces. We recommend purchasing a 12-clipping card pass and using all 12 slots in one booking. It is much cheaper to pay for the entire session.

After booking, you will receive a unique key code, via email and text message, that will allow you to open the digital padlock on the front door. Simply leave the padlock open while you use the sauna, and when you are finished you can lock the sauna again with it.

In accordance with our rules of use, the sauna must be left in the same condition as you found it. We provide green soap and a squeegee for easy cleaning. Please be kind and mop up the water on the floor outside the main door and wash the benches.

No, the sauna is self-service and it is your responsibility to heat it up. This helps keep costs down, making Langevåg Sauna one of the most affordable alternatives in Western Norway. If someone has used the sauna once already today, its already pre-heated.

The sauna can only be used by persons aged 16 and over. Persons under 16 must be accompanied by an adult over 18.

Langevåg Sauna offers a simple and authentic experience with a changing room and access to clean, fresh seawater. There are no shower facilities available.

Bømlo IL, a non-profit organization, owns and operates Langevåg Sauna together with Bømlo Båtlag. The surplus from the project is used to develop and improve the voluntary organizations for the benefit of the local community.

To reserve a session, navigate to our booking calendar on the front page of the website. Select the session that suits you best and click "Book". You will then be asked to fill out a form and complete the payment. After payment, you will receive a code and further information from us.
